Where’s Michael (and where’s he headed)?
STURGIS: Michael exhibited more than 80 framed photographs at the Full Throttle Saloon, as well as several at the “Motorcycles as Art”show at the Buffalo Chip.
Michael was honored this year with the “Lifetime Achievement Award” at the Hall of Fame breakfast at the Lodge at Deadwood (see below). He was also the featured artist at the “Flying Piston Breakfast” at the Buffalo Chip.
Stay tuned for an epic end of the year: Michael will be shooting the Lone Star Rally in Galveston in November; and Mooneyes in Japan in December.
Currently, Michael is recovering from rotator cuff surgery. Check out the new Video section featuring Sean Lichter, director & producer.

Majik Mike Rabideau Red 79’ Shovelhead
Majik Mike has been building beautiful bikes for years, but really stepped it up these last few years after he quit his day job and focused all his time on custom motorcycles.
We photographed Paul Yaffe’s custom BMW R-18 on location in Arizona just before it headed to Europe where BMW unveiled it at Motor Bike Expo in Verona. I recently photographed Paul riding the bike around Sturgis. Check out both by clicking the links.

It’s been another great year at the TMMR (Tennessee Motorcycles and Music Revival) at Loretta Lynn’s Ranch. I’ve shot this for several years now, and it’s a great, characterful event with awesome music on multiple stages and a chill atmosphere. With great riding, racing, a river to cool down in, the BC Moto Invitational Show, and lots more, so be sure to check it out and come down next May
