File: 1006 Touch the Wall.jpg
Description: Spirits are high in the Pentagon parking lot before Rolling Thunder leaves for the Vietnam memorial. How can they not be? Thousands of motorcycles are parked together and about to leave in a huge mass to parade through the streets of Washington with cheering spectators lining the curbs the entire way. By the time we arrived at the wall, the mood had become somber. The rain that had started to fall that Sunday morning probably heightened everyoneÕs feelings but they were strong, regardless. You could see them in the way people walked, the way they talked, in their faces and in their hands.
