Over the years, we have flown to over 150 location assignments across America as well as shoots in Europe, Japan, New Zealand, Canada and Mexico. The mixture of the motorcycle work with the diversity of subject matter that comprises the other 50% keeps photography (and life in general) exciting. In the 25+ years we have been photographing Harleys, we have published more than 1,000 articles on the subject including custom bike features, lifestyle stories and 60 magazine covers. The stock photo archives are used by magazines and corporations as well as books on a regular basis. In addition to contributions to numerous books, seven photo books have “photos by Michael Lichter” on the cover (of which 2 also include the writing credit.)

Michael has been involved with trade associations since the late 1980’s. After several years of being on the board and then as president of a local group, in 1993, Michael was elected to ASMP’s (the American Society of Media Photographers) Colorado Chapter Board of Directors and eventually served three years as president.
