Could anything be better than John Kay and Steppenwolf playing “Born to Be Wild” in the Black Hills, a Harley-Davidson revs its engine on stage, Rusty Dennis (the woman Cher played in the film “Mask”) looks on, and a host of bikers cheer wildly, singing along as they hear "Get your motor runnin', head out on the highway." This is their anthem and for this one short time each year, this is their place. This is Sturgis.
