During the Rally, the Black Hills are black with Harleys. The bikes become part of the scenery. I ride the steep, windy roads and pull over repeatedly to scamper up embankments, crawl into ditches or straddle double yellow lines; all in hopes that a pack, or perhaps, a single bike will come through the tunnel, across the bridge or into the rocky slot to complete my vision.
